Depending on your body type, you may need anywhere from 1500-2500 calories per day. Some people may need less if you try to lose weight and others may need more if you try to gain weight, but the most important factor is your metabolism. If you abstain from food for a long period of time , your metabolism will slow down.
Doctors and nutritionists advise patients to eat every 4 hours to increase and improve your metabolism. People should eat three balanced each of the basic food groups everyday and have healthy snacks like an apple between meals to keep your metabolism stable meals. The longer you wait to eat , the more your metabolism slows down. The five basic food groups are vegetables , fruits , proteins , grains and dairy products. In addition to eating the right amount of food, people need to consume more water. Your water intake should be half your body weight in ounces . So if you weigh 200 pounds, you should drink 100 ounces of water per day. Water is necessary for our bodies to provide adequate hydration and blood flow that carries nutrients to our body for continuous operation and disposal of waste produced by our body.
Exercise is a very important factor that must be practiced everyday. Doctors recommend that patients receive at least thirty minutes of cardiovascular exercise every day. This can be anything from jogging around your neighborhood to suck his home to raise your heart rate. Strength training is also recommended to build muscle and lose fat all over the body , such as abdominal muscles and biceps arms. It is recommended not to exercise the same muscle groups every day to avoid overuse and muscle strain.
Adults should pay close attention to your diet and exercise habits , because children imitate what they see . Children in our society have an increasing rate of obesity is closely adults. They spend less time outside running and sports and more time in the computer and video games . We have to go in the year in our school systems and our communities to keep our youth active and healthy . This will prevent early disorders such as diabetes , caused by childhood obesity.
