Nutrition for Mind and Body

The definition of nutrition is "to provide what is necessary for life, health and growth." Most people recognize it as important for the body, and think as to ensure that they consume necessary vitamins and minerals that keep your body healthy. However, nutrition is also very important for the mind.People make fun of clichés, but not true that "You are what you eat words."
Unfortunately, nowadays it is very difficult to know what you eat.
Although technology has increased the production of a variety of foods strongly, but also introduced growth hormones in chicken and beef, and pesticides in our fruits and vegetables. It is difficult for the average person to make sure they eat food "natural" if you really want.
Although unhealthy food additives is of course a concern - and one that you should discuss with your nutritional therapist, a major concern is that people "eat healthy" at all.
Many people eat too much for your level of activity
See evidence. Most people eat too much for your level of every day (and for your type of metabolism) activity. People who consume more calories than they use will gain weight, and when they earn more than 5 pounds of your ideal weight, it is not healthy. (It is not healthy to be 5 pounds or more under what a person should ideally weigh, based on height and skeletal deviation). Heavy boned people fine-boned, medium and bone, all the same height, have optimal weight and body mass.
Why do people overeat?
Excessive power is caused by a variety of factors.
Many people eat all the time, because they feel hungry all the time. They do not realize that one of the reasons why they feel constantly hungry is because they eat the same food cravings and hunger causes! (Why is it that nobody can eat "just one" potato chip? There is a physiological reason why this is the case.)
Other people eat because they are bored or because they are emotionally distressed and need comfort food.
Many people eat unhealthy foods
I do not speak here of unhealthy hormones and pesticide residues that may be eating our chicken or beef and vegetables piled plate.
People eat too much candy and soda. They eat refined sugars. Consume both "good" and "bad" carbohydrates. (We all need carbohydrates in our diet. It's just a matter of what type of carbs you eat.)
Nutrition for the body and mind is a relatively new concept. Obviously, nutritionists have been around for decades, but the link between a poor diet and the brain's response alone was explored in the last decade.
The brain needs nutrition and
The brain really need a variety of nutrition, food supply is "necessary to life, health and growth." There are two types of food - mental stimulation such as reading books, doing crossword puzzles, playing scrabble or even cards - activities that keep the mind alert.
However, alertness of mind, and your overall health may also be affected by the actual food we eat every day.
An example of this is caffeine. How many people feel weak in the morning before having their first cup of coffee? How are nervous the night and can not sleep because they have drunk too much caffeine?
Another example ... sugar. How many children can not sit still in school because they had a bowl of cereal mixed with sugar which gives them the energy needed to burn physics?
The link between what we eat and how our mind works is inevitable
